Description

To increase equity of access to cancer pre-habilitation and rehabilitation support for people living in Wirral. This will be done through testing an expanded primary care based model which optimises the physiological function of people living with cancer before treatment. The pre-habilitation element of this service will enable people to prepare for treatment by improving their health and fitness, then complimented by the rehabilitation element, aims to accelerate post treatment/surgery recovery, reduce the likelihood or impact of any complications experienced afterward and improve their ongoing quality of life.
