Description

Nexus has purchased one specialist used railway maintenance vehicle, specifically a rail grinder MoserRV49 (or equivalent). This has been delivered to a suitable Nexus location in order to meet the urgent needs of rail defects on the Tyne and Wear Metro. The used rail grinder meets the specialist gauging requirements of Nexus rail infrastructure and our operational needs including but not limited to: road/rail travel capabilities, limited noise levels (for Tyne and Wear Metro lineside neighbours), dust collection capabilities, large gradient working, and low minimum curve radius working.
