Description

To ensure deep draft vessels can continue to access London Gateway Port, Maintenance Dredging of the part of the Navigation Channel and berth pocket is required. The Works require dredging at areas within the Yantlet (Sea Reach and Manoeuvring Area), areas at the Sunk, areas in Knock John Channel together with the removal of high spots in the berth pockets. In addition, the Employer may instruct additional Works comprising dredging at areas at the Yantlet/West Oaze and Black Deep The Works shall include for the mobilisation and demobilisation of dredging equipment to carry out Maintenance Dredging to the required depth and to the extents shown on the tender Drawings.
