Procurement for the provision of Restorative Dental Services (Endodontic and Prosthodontic) in Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire Berkshire West (BOB) and Frimley (Berkshire East) Integrated Care Boards (ICBs)

Description

Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire & West Berkshire (BOB) and Frimley (Berkshire East) Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) (the Commissioners) sought to commission providers who have the capability and capacity to deliver Restorative Dental Services Endodontic and Prosthodontic) in Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire & West Berkshire and Frimley (Berkshire East), in line with the specified requirements. The procurement was divided into 8 lots (Lots 1 - 4 for Endodontics and Lots 5 - 8 for Prosthodontics) in the BOB ICB area & and Frimley ICB (East Berkshire) area. Providers were able to bid for a maximum of 4 Lots (Maximum of 2 from lots 1 - 4 and maximum of 2 from lots 5 - 8). The maximum total initial contract values (5 years) for each lot were as follows: Lot 1 - Endodontics Buckinghamshire: £788,400 Lot 2 - Endodontics Oxfordshire: £1,002,600 Lot 3 - Endodontic Berkshire West s: £712,200 Lot 4 - Endodontics Berkshire East: £613,800 Lot 5 - Prosthodontics Buckinghamshire: £729,400 Lot 6 - Prosthodontics Oxfordshire: £927,500 Lot 7 - Prosthodontics Berkshire West: £658,700 Lot 8 - Prosthodontics Berkshire East: £567,700 The contract term was planned to commence on 1st April 2026 for a duration of 5 years with an optional extension of 2 years. The date will be subject to agreement with the commissioner or their successor organisation(s), further to changes to the indicative tender timetable published. This notice serves as an intention to award contracts under the competitive process of the Provider Selection Regime (PSR). This exercise was carried out by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the Commissioner and their successor organisation(s).
