Description
School Streets is a national initiative aimed at reducing traffic outside schools. The project launched in February 2025 and is now being rolled out to a further 9 schools, enforcement of these schemes is by static camera. Any unauthorised vehicle recorded will be issued a penalty charge notice using the evidence gathered by the camera and reviewed by an officer. Parking Services already have in place parking enforcement software and camera review software on a three years hosted solution contract, therefore compatible static cameras are required for these projects as integration into existing software requires compatibility with third party hosted software (TES Review) which is linked directly to the cameras.
This page represents one OCDS contracting process. Notices can be revised over time. Values may be estimates, award values or contract values and should be read with their displayed stage and date.
