Description

Kirklees require as part of the statutory process for Right To Buy disposals the provision of Red Book report valuations for each property application whether that be freehold or leasehold and subject to an inspection of each property. The Council require a supplier to provide a valuation service, being responsible for advising on any issues/concerns arising from that inspection and also have a good knowledge of the local housing market and of all types of defective housing types. Where required (and not on every occasion but on request) the valuer shall also provide a full Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). Where the inspection for that function shall be required, the supplier must complete this at the same time as the valuation survey on a one appointment basis. This is required to mitigate impact on tenant.
