Description
Enable the in active demonstration of 3D concrete printing technology capability at a reduced scale to undertake a defined task, specifically the manufacture of the MSSS box bund. For practical reasons, the in active demonstration will be conducted at a slightly reduced scale to facilitate subsequent disposal. The objective of this stage is to test the feasibility of the technique under in active conditions. The in active demonstration will involve 3DCP technology applied to the manufacture of MSSS waste container bunds, which are presently produced using traditional cast concrete methods. The proposed technique is anticipated to be significantly more efficient, cost effective, and flexible, enabling “just in time” manufacture and thereby eliminating the need for storage of empty boxes awaiting filling.
