Description
The Council is undertaking this further competition via the YORCivil3 Framework. Tenders are invited by the Council from Suppliers with relevant experience and ability to demonstrate sufficient capacity for the provision of this service. The scheme expects to increase safety for cyclists by providing cycle lanes and improved crossing facilities for pedestrians and cyclists. This will help increase the number of cyclists and pedestrian users within the scheme. •Reduced pedestrian severance and increased pedestrian safety •Increased safety for cyclists •More attractive route for cyclists •Healthier environment through improved green infrastructure
