Description

IWM Duxford, part of the Imperial War Museums (IWM), is a major heritage site and visitor attraction located on a historic airfield. The site includes 38 listed buildings and operates within a conservation area. This project forms part of the IWM Masterplan and involves the relocation of 37 large historic vehicles from one building to multiple locations across the Duxford site. Objects include: •WWII tanks •Cold War tanks •Contemporary armoured vehicles •Locomotives The moves will be phased from April 2026, ensuring safe, damage-free handling and full compliance with all relevant regulations.
