Description
The Council operates a diverse, service critical fleet of around 1300 vehicles, incorporating a fleet of refuse collection vehicles, passenger transport vehicles, cars and vans amongst many others. This tender is designed to establish a framework for the repair of bodywork for these vehicles as and when required by the Council. Contractors appointed to the framework will be undertaking bodywork repairs to vehicles which are required to perform some of the most critical services on behalf of the Council. This includes, but is not limited to, the collection of household waste and the transportation of vulnerable customers. As a result, it is expected that any Contractor appointed will undertake work with the utmost care and skill whilst performing the Services required by the Contract Manager.
