Description

Flood Risk Management: Surface Water Studies - Premarket Engagement Technical expertise is sought to build upon existing flood modelling and mapping to improve understanding of flood risk in sub-catchments in Nottingham City. This should form a study report to identify a long-list and short-list of costed options for flood risk management schemes in alignment with DEFRA's new FCERM funding policy and upcoming local appraisal guidance. This pre-market engagement exercise is being conducted in accordance with Sections 16 and 17 of the Procurement Act 2023. Its primary purpose is to help the contracting authority better understand the market's capacity, capabilities, and potential solutions prior to initiating a formal procurement process. Participation in this exercise does not form part of the formal procurement process and will not be used to assess or pre-qualify suppliers. All insights gathered will be used solely to inform the upcoming procurement and ensure it is designed in a way that is open, competitive, and effective.
