Description

The main purposes of the National Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Database are to support direct <br/>patient care by ensuring that SCI patients are referred into the care of SCI centres and <br/>subsequently managed to rehabilitation and discharge.<br/>The SCI database is also used to monitor the level of demand for treatment services as part <br/>of a wider strategy to ensure that demand does not exceed capacity,<br/>The clinical database provides a service to a number of stakeholders, including: <br/>• Patients, <br/>• Clinicians<br/>• Commissioners<br/>• Patient societies
