Description
Council requires the provision of a complete management system to monitor the current water levels at several Council managed locations below. This is assumed to be via a suite of hydrostatic water level (or equivalent ultrasonic will be accepted) monitoring stations and associated backup. This includes all system supply, installation, configuration and associated maintenance. The need is for accurate flood monitoring at several locations enabling proactive level management via Council staff to significantly reduce the impact from potential flooding events. Effective water level monitoring will be central to help safeguard lives, protect infrastructure, and minimise economic disruption Council requires accurate, low-maintenance sensors for flood monitoring stations, capable of operating reliably under harsh weather conditions. The Supplier must provide a full supply installation & servicing function to ensure effective lifecycle costs. The proposed system must integrate seamlessly with a real time web-based data display dashboard with a built-in alarm system to notify managing council officers when threshold data values are exceeded.
