Description
Kent County Council (KCC) have completed a tender exercise to procure a provider to deliver a comprehensive communications and marketing programme to support the Kent Wine Sector. The the primary focus for the commission is developing and implementing an effective county-wide strategy to promote Kent as the UK's foremost wine region. The successful provider will lead on communications and marketing activities, working collaboratively with local vineyards, industry groups, and key stakeholders to position Kent as the UK's foremost wine region, the leading English wine destination, driving awareness, footfall, revenue, and sales for Kent vineyards. The provider will also support the development and promotion of a Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) for Kent wines, ensuring PDO messaging is integrated into the broader communications and marketing work. KCC identified a number of candidates who were invited to submit a tender for the opportunity.
