Description

Rossendale Borough Council has awarded a contract for the delivery of a comprehensive package of heat decarbonisation and energy efficiency works at Marl Pits Leisure Centre, Rawtenstall. The works are funded in part through the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme (PSDS Phase 4) and are based on a completed RIBA Stage 4 design. The contract covers the delivery of RIBA Stages 5 and 6 construction activities and includes: Mechanical services installations Electrical services installations Building fabric improvements Testing and commissioning Performance verification Handover and training Post-installation support The project is required to be completed and handed over by 31 January 2027 in accordance with PSDS funding requirements.
