Description
The purpose of the project is to research and explore the implementation of mobile water treatment within our operations. We are particularly interested in implementing a fleet of Mobile GAC Contactors which we could use at various sites to combat taste and odour issues caused by Geosmin and 2-MIB. We are looking to use this technology in multiple locations with flows approximately from 1-10ML/D, generally aiming to achieve Geosmin reduction from circa 20 mg/L to < 5 mg/L, and with a contact time of circa 5 minutes. The removal of PFAS compounds is also in our interest, as well as any potential to use these Mobile GAC Contactors to increase our production capacity during rapid gravity filter outages.
