Description

The Supply of Mail Services for the Collection and Delivery of 1st and 2nd Class Mail (CWC23048MW) project is a Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) exercise issued by City of Wolverhampton Council to gather market intelligence ahead of procuring a high-volume outbound mail service The Council processes approximately 850,000 mail items annually through its Civic Centre mailroom and is seeking cost-effective, secure, and efficient solutions for daily collection, pre-sorting, processing, and delivery to Royal Mail inbound centres. The PME aims to understand market capacity, pricing models, contract structures (single or multi-lot), technological efficiencies, sustainability options, and commercial approaches to inform the future procurement strategy for a proposed four-year contract (2+1+1) covering both 1st and 2nd Class mail services.
