Description
The Civic Leadership Programme is designed to give participants real life experience of what it is like to take on roles such as Magistrates, Councillors, Board Members and School Governors. The aim of the programme is to encourage under-represented groups to apply for public duty roles. Participants will have the opportunity to increase their knowledge, skills and confidence to participate in local decision-making processes and to provide them with the insight and knowledge to apply for roles. In addition, on completion of the programme, participants will act as role models to encourage members of the community to become more actively involved in local decision making.
