Description
Cumberland Council has awarded a contract to a provider to deliver Educational Psychology Advice for Education Health and Care Needs Assessments. Cumberland Council is responsible for securing high-quality Educational Psychology (EP) advice to support statutory Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments (EHCNAs). Due to sustained demand pressures and national EP workforce shortages, additional EP capacity is required. This service provides locum Educational Psychologists to restore statutory compliance and ensure timely, evidence-based assessments. The contract will have a maximum value of £225,000 and will be in place for an initial period of 04 months, with the option to extend for a further 02 months. The Initial Term is 01st June 2026 to 30th September 2026 with the option to extend by 02 months. If the extension is used the contract would end on 30th November 2026.
