Description
Tendring District Council (the Authority) is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and licensed operator to provide a collection and disposal service to residents for clinical waste. The Council requires a kerbside collection from an average of 3845 residential customers per annum and an average number of 320 residential collections per month with varying collection frequencies, including weekly, monthly, ad-hoc and one-off collections from who all subscribe to the service within the district of Tendring. Please see district map (Annex 3). The service is free of charge to applicable customers, with the Authority administering the initial customer contact with the application then passed on to the Contractor to further administer, make customer contact and manage the customers clinical waste needs. We are inviting bids for the above contract scheduled to commence on the 1 July 2026,. with a duration of 3 years expiring on 31 June 2029 with no option to extend.
