Description

The University is seeking a suitably qualified contractor to provide waste collection services for the following waste streams: •Compacted General Waste •General Waste in the City •Dry Recyclables •Food Waste The University takes a holistic approach to waste and in partnership with contractors has worked on improvements that minimise the environmental impact in this area. Bidders will need to demonstrate they can provide sustainable, cost effective and innovative waste solutions that support the University’s Carbon Reduction, Sustainability and Waste Strategies. The successful Bidder must also evidence that their operational facilities are situated to ensure they travel no more than an 80-mile round trip per collection, including any movement a vehicle may make between vehicle holding depots, waste/treatment facilities and the University.
