Description

The Police, Fire & Crime Commissioner for Cumbria has directly commissioned a specialist Psychological Screening Programme, which is the surveillance programme recommended and fully validated by the College of Policing for high-risk roles. Clinical Psychologist and programme lead also provides the clinical governance for all clinical staff undertaking the screening programme under the provider's direction and conducts the psychological assessments on those officers found to have high trauma or clinical scores. The initial period of the contract was for 6-months wef 01.10.2025, with options to extend for further periods up to 30.09.2027. The Constabulary Occupational Health Unit is undertaking review of services in conjunction with Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service to identify any synergies and opportunities for collaboration.
