Description
NHS England preciously announced the award of a contract to provide the Federated Data Platform (FDP), that sits across NHS Trusts and Integrated Care Systems allowing data held in separate environments to be connected in a secure and safe environment, delivering joined up care for millions of patients, tackle waiting lists and reducing hospital discharge delays. The FDP Advisory Group is an independent stakeholder advisory group which provides strategic advice for NHS England's Federated Data Platform on communications, engagement and transparency, considering patient, public, professional and ethical context, complimented by the Patient and Public Communications Advisory Panel which provides a patient voice on communications and engagement materials. The Advisory Group is an integral forum to provide expert advice, raise concerns and flag emerging issues, ensuring stakeholders remain confident in the roll out and use cases of FDP.
