1 Gascoyne Place - Refurbishment Works

Description

The council wishes to establish a single provider for the provision of refurbishment works to 1 Gascoyne Place, Bath. 1 Gascoyne Place is a currently vacant building set over 4 floors with a basement and vaults. The external fabric and internal separating structures, services and finishes are suffering from a backlog of maintenance and the aim of this procurement is to appoint a contractor to complete the refurbishment / repair works to the property. This includes the addressal of wind and weather tightness, roofing repairs, repairs to stonework, structural remediation and internal refurbishment to achieve full statutory compliance and also the upgrade of existing life safety systems and building fabric to enable safe reoccupation of building as a single occupancy across all floors (B, G,1, 2 & 3) in line with the fire strategy.
