Description

Transport for London (TfL) is conducting a market engagement exercise by way of a Market Sounding Questionnaire for its cash collection and cash in transit services. TfL accepts cash for either travel ticket and/or Oyster card purchase/top up at London Underground stations, via DLR ticket machines, at several bus stations and five (station based) Visitor Centres. This cash needs to be collected and deposited to TfL's banking contractor within specified time windows. There are just under 300 London Underground stations, locations in Greater London, Essex and Hertfordshire DLR stations, and around 50 locations at DLR stations bus stations and Visitor Centres. The services are expected to support the safe handling, transportation, and management of cash generated from operational activities. In order to obtain a copy of the Market Sounding Questionnaire please reach out to Annohbrobbey@tfl.gov.uk.
