Description

The provider is an NHS Foundation Trust delivering acute healthcare services, including but not limited to Commissioner Requested Services (CRS) / Essential Services and specialised services. Due to the nature of these healthcare services, the provider is the only organisation capable of delivering the required services. Additional funding from NHS SEL ICB has been added to the contract value, resulting in a revised annual total contract value of £1,211,554,000. This represents an increase in contract value of over £500,000. This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) contract modification notice, under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. This contract has now been formally modified. The decision to modify this Contract was approved by the SEL ICB GSTT Contract Management Board, and the Contract signed by SEL ICB Chief Executive Officer. No conflicts of interest were declared, noting SEL ICB's 'Standards of Business Conduct' policy is in line with arrangements outlined within the SEL ICB constitution to support the integrity of decision-making processes and help staff manage conflicts of interest risks effectively.
