Description
The project will be funded by the West Yorkshire Combined Authority through the City Region Sustainable Transport Settlements The scheme will address a significant issue of community severance between the settlements of Steeton and Silsden in Bradford, where a 70mph bypass separates the two settlements and the current infrastructure for cycling and walking between them is poor. The intention is to deliver a pedestrian and cycle bridge over the A629, and then the wider connectivity improvements being brought forward when funding is available. This will be awarded under a framework.
