Description

The Council is seeking to appoint one (1) Provider for the supply of bulk-blown wood pellet heating fuel meeting EN+ A1 specifications to five sites across Staffordshire. The overreaching specification for the wood pellet is to be ENplus A1 6mm. Deliveries are to be made on an as-needed basis, with anticipated total annual volumes of up to 230 tonnes, as summarised below: Approximately 60 tonnes to Hugo Meynell Primary (TF9 4NU) per year. Approximately 20 tonnes to Whittington Primary School (WS14 9LG) per year Approximately 10 tonnes to Chasewater Innovation Centre (WS8 7NL) per year Approximately 50 tonnes to Walton Hall Special School (ST21 6JR) per year. Approximately 50 tonnes to Cannock Chase Enterprise Centre (WS12 0QU) per year. The successful Provider will be required to meet EN PLUS A1 6mm as well as retain Biomass Suppliers List (BSL) accreditation for all fuels delivered to installations within this contract for the duration of the contract term.
