16 AND 17 YEAR OLDS ACCOMMODATION AND SUPPORT SERVICE- AIMS AND OBJECTIVES The service will • prevent youth homelessness by providing safe, stable, high-quality accommodation across the borough. • deliver personalised, outcome-focused, co-produced support plans that build resilience, independent living skills and progression towards education and employment. • provide a nurturing, trauma-informed environment that promotes emotional wellbeing, engagement and trust, with early identification and referral for specialist support (including CAMHS) where required. • support safe mediation with young people and families to restore relationships and enable a safe return home where appropriate. • promote healthy lifestyles and relationships, including access to information, safe spaces for discussion and routes into support for mental/emotional health, sexual health, substance misuse and exploitation.
