Description
Guidance for Places of Worship (POW) volunteers to help them identify appropriate funders for specific elements of repair and adaptation projects. This need has been prompted by the announcement of the Places of Worship Renewal Fund (PWRF) primarily offering capital funding for repairs from April 2026. 1. by mid-April, a basic document is made available which identifies POW funders (i.e. what they will and won't fund, the range of grants available, contact details etc) 2. by mid-May (when PWRF applicants whose expressions of interest will not be taken forward into full applications will be notified) a more detailed guidance note is available to support further fund-raising, in the form of a decision-tree that helps POW volunteers navigate the POW funding sector.
