Description

An Individual Service Fund (ISF) is one way of managing a person's personal budget for care and support: • The provider manages the budget on behalf of the individual, unlike a Direct Payment where the individual manages the funds themselves. • ISFs offer greater flexibility and choice, enabling people to shape their care around their preferences. • Individuals can choose to use multiple providers to meet their needs. • There is flexibility to carry forward (roll over) funds or support into future weeks or months, allowing people to plan for specific activities or goals.
