Description
Wirral Council is currently progressing a Business Case, in relation to its contractual position and forthcoming programme of work to consider replacement of the existing Revenues and Benefits systems. This includes consideration for both the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) and core Revenues and Benefits system. This document is intended to provide early visibility of the Council's strategic direction, the challenges with current systems, and the proposed phased approach to modernisation. It also supports engagement with internal and external stakeholders to help shape the future solution, procurement approach, and service design to ensure delivery of a resilient, efficient, and value-for-money service. (Please note the Contract start and end dates are unknown at this point, but for the purposes of this exercise we have set it at 5 years for now).
