Description
The Authority wishes to award a contract for the improvement of the Austwick to Clapham bridleway on the A65. To include: • Resurface approximately 430m of the public bridleway to a bound surface appropriate for all users of the bridleway with a flexible porous surface - suitable for all users of the public bridleway and light agricultural vehicles. 2m wide surfacing with approximately 0.5m verge buffer strip either side • Remove and reinstation of soil/turf • Create a splayed/bound entrance exit either side of the bridleway to interconnect into the B480 • Include appropriate road markings for cyclists to give way to traffic when merging with the highway. • Install reinforced concrete farm crossing to E10 Standard or other bound surface suitable for agricultural vehicular access • Manage any traffic management orders needed within the scope of the works, including designing, supplying and deploying any barriers, signage and traffic light systems.
