Description
Maple and May seek to appoint Developer(s) to provide Competitive Land, Design and Build works opportunities in the Bangor area to deliver Affordable Rent projects as part of the Department for Communities (DfC) Affordable Rent Programme. This will include the supply of land and design and construction of properties to meet the DfC Homes for Intermediate Rent Design Standards and statutory requirements (e.g. Planning Permission, Building Control approval), as well as adhering to Maple and May’s specific design and specification standards and the Employer’s Requirements included in the precedent Sale and Development Agreement. The competition will seek developments of up to 20no. units from each potential supplier with the ability to award contracts to multiple Developers. Therefore, the output of the competition may exceed 20. units depending on the quantity and quality of tender submissions received. The number of dwellings provided for each project will be subject to funding support from DfC.
