Description
Central Bedfordshire Council (the “Council”) is a unitary authority serving the Central Bedfordshire area, established in 2009. The area covers approximately 716 km² (276 sq miles) and has a population of around 315,900 residents (2024). It comprises a mix of market towns and rural communities, with major centres including Leighton Buzzard, Dunstable and Houghton Regis. The Council operates from its headquarters at Priory House in Chicksands. The Council are keen to get PME responses from interested suppliers to help shape the final structure, commercial model and technical requirements of the Framework prior to commencing the competitive procurement process.
