Description
Introduction 1. ‘Operation Scorpius’ is an initiative that was established in February 2022, to bring together various teams from different parts of the MoD to coordinate its various activities in support of Ukraine. Taskforce Kindred (TFK), a team of MoD staff within Operation Scorpius, manages the response to requests from the Armed Forces Ukraine (AFU) and works with DE&S to source the required equipment. 2.TFK have a requirement to understand the current EW marketplace in the UK to provide continued and resilient EW capability to the AFU. Therefore, in consultation with the AFU, TFK has agreed that EWBR1 procurement will focus on Electronic Warfare (EW) Capability and will concentrate efforts on the following System Configurations: EWBR1-a: Soldier-Portable / Worn; or, EWBR1-b: Vehicle Hosted; or, EWBR1-c: UxV-Hosted; or, EWBR1-d: Emplaced. 3.This Request for Information (RFI) is only seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) regarding the C-UAS Electronic Warfare System Capability Area For further information please see link below https://contracts.mod.uk/esop/guest/go/opportunity/detail?opportunityId=61270
