Description
The Brighter Pathways Project, a peer-led, trauma-informed intervention designed to support men transitioning from HMP Swansea into the Swansea Probation Delivery Unit (PDU). The project provides a structured programme of support both before and after release, with trained peer mentors working alongside participants to build trust, resilience, and practical life skills. Through a combination of one-to-one mentoring, wellbeing support, and tailored guidance, the initiative aims to improve emotional health, strengthen readiness for employment, and promote more stable reintegration into the community.
