SE1255 Active Environments Strategic Outcome Planning Guidance

Description

Sport England is seeking support from a consortium of Lot A (SPORT ENGLAND ACTIVE ENVIRONMENTS FRAMEWORK) providers to refresh its Strategic Outcomes Planning Guidance (SOPG), ensuring it remains relevant, clear, and fit for purpose for local authorities and public bodies planning leisure and wellbeing services. Originally developed in 2021, the guidance has played a key role in helping partners align services with local needs, secure investment, and navigate changes during and after the COVID-19 pandemic, while also serving as a diagnostic tool to identify gaps and guide sustainable service delivery. Recognising the valuable expertise gained by consultants through applying the SOPG, Sport England proposes a collaborative approach to the refresh, partnering with Lot A Framework consultants to ensure the updated guidance meets the needs of all stakeholders.
