Description

Trinity House is currently considering the future provision of a Vessel Management System (VMS) to support two new buoy tender vessels being introduced as part of the vessel replacement programme. Existing fleet management arrangements for the current vessel fleet will remain in place during this period, with Danaos continuing to support the legacy vessels. Any future procurement resulting from this market engagement is therefore anticipated to focus on the implementation of a vessel management solution for the two new vessels only. The purpose of this market engagement is to better understand the solutions available in the market, associated implementation approaches, commercial models, and innovation opportunities to inform future procurement and contract award decisions.
