Description
The government’s commitment to strengthen health visiting requires us to improve our evidence on the benefit of health visiting services and what could be achieved if we invested more into the profession, particularly if we are looking to secure additional funding for health visiting policy at the next fiscal event. This commission will support us in developing the evidence base, particularly in terms of the benefits/impact of health visiting and the impact of allocating additional funding to health visiting. It will strengthen our foundation of evidence for developing policy that will support us in achieving the government commitment to strengthen health visiting and reform the ways services are delivered to maximise our investment. The information collected through this commission will support us in writing a strong evidence-based bid with a series of options for future investment.
