Description
The Council has statutory responsibilities under data protection legislation, Freedom of Information legislation, records management requirements and safeguarding obligations to ensure that records are retained securely, accessed appropriately and disposed of in accordance with retention schedules. The Council is therefore exploring opportunities to improve physical records management, increase compliance, strengthen governance and improve access to records whilst ensuring value for money
