Description

Velindre University NHS Trust is undertaking a pre-market engagement exercise to inform a future procurement for the provision of Resuscitation Training Manikins to support Basic Life Support (BLS), Immediate Life Support (ILS), and Advanced Life Support (ALS) training programmes. cross all levels of resuscitation training (Basic Life Support (BLS), Immediate Life Support (ILS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS)), the Trust is specifically seeking manikins that provide objective CPR performance feedback. Solutions that rely solely on an auditory chest-click mechanism to indicate compression depth will not be sufficient to meet the Trust's requirements. Suppliers should demonstrate how their equipment provides real-time, measurable feedback on CPR quality, including compression depth, rate, recoil and ventilation performance where applicable. This requirement is considered essential to support compliance with the 2025 Resuscitation Council UK guidance.
