Description
UK Ship Routeing Study on English waters (commissioned by the Crown Estate England) to include a navigational risk assessment (including Scottish and Northern Irish waters) using AIS data and established modelling. Incumbent will provide a technical report (methodology, base/future routes, risk calibration/tolerability/ As Low as Reasonably Possible [ALARP] thresholds, risk modelling, mitigation recommendations, gap analysis) plus an in-person results workshop and delivery of Geographic Information System (GIS) datasets (e.g., Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI) shapefiles/raster with metadata). The data rendered into these formats will enable qualitative and quantitative analyses using the MCA’s own software for future decision making.
