For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and Procurement Act Regulations 2023 do not apply to this award. BCP Council, acting on behalf of both BCP Council and Dorset Council, intends to award a contract using the Most Suitable Provider Process for the provision of a fully integrated, open-access Sexual and Reproductive Health Service across the Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole, and Dorset local authority areas. The service will be awarded as a single contract and will not be divided into lots. The service shall deliver: • Sexual health prevention, testing, diagnosis and treatment services. • Reproductive health and contraception services, including Long Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC). • HIV testing, prevention and Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) services. • Digital and self-managed sexual health pathways, including online information, triage and home testing where clinically appropriate. • Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) support and targeted prevention activity. • Clinical outreach services designed to improve access and reduce health inequalities. • Services for children and young people. • Workforce development, training and public health prevention initiatives. The provider will be expected to deliver a blended model of care comprising: • Face-to-face clinical services, (CQC Registration requirement - Level Good or above) • Telephone consultations. • Digital access routes and online service provision. • Walk-in services where appropriate. • Same-day assessment pathways for urgent clinical need. • Integrated pathways enabling seamless movement between digital, telephone and in-person services. The contract is intended to secure a single provider capable of delivering accessible, high-quality, person-centred services across both council areas, ensuring continuity of care and consistent service standards throughout the contract term. This notice is published to provide transparency regarding the councils' commissioning intentions and does not, in itself, constitute a contract award.
