Description

The York Outer Ring Road (YORR) A1237 Dualling scheme is a major transport scheme representing one of the largest highway investments in a generation or more. This project requires significant third-party land acquisition to facilitate delivery, for which the expertise is not available in-house. To date, Ardent have been appointed as land surveyors and supported the progression of the required land negotiations, which must be pursued in tandem with the Compulsory Purchase Order, to ensure timely and complete land assembly. Land agent services are required to complete the process of private treaty negotiation to acquire land/interests needed for the YORR Dualling scheme and for associated support with a Compulsory Purchase Order - CPO (and Side Roads Order - SRO).
