Description
The Community Builder programme, which commenced in 2022, works to ensure that Wakefield VCSE organisations become a fully integrated part of the community mental health offer. Community Builders work as the interface between the voluntary and community offer, Connecting Care Hubs and the Primary Care Networks and build on an existing rich social prescribing offer. This role has become an integral part of the Connecting Care mental health offer, bridging the gap between voluntary and statutory services. The Community Builder identifies opportunities for and delivers training, delivering specific engagement workshops, supporting third sector organisations in identifying funding opportunities and helping them to consider how they can work alongside the connecting care team mental health offer.
