Description

Historic England seeks a supplier to undertake a focused evaluation of whether its advice on Grade II listed building consent (LBC) applications involving statutory ‘relevant works’ leads to material changes in development proposals. The study will compare applications receiving Historic England advice with closely matched Grade II applications that did not receive that advice. The principal outcome to be evaluated is the material amendment of the proposal in a way consistent with heritage concerns, rather than the ultimate grant or refusal of consent. Full details of this project can be found in the Invitation to Tender document.
