Description
To produce a high level list of in perpetuity Conservation Measures that would benefit features of the Solent, including Special Areas of Conservation (SACs), Special Protection Areas (SPAs) and Ramsar sites affected by nutrient enrichment. The output will support Natural England, local authorities, and catchment partners in shaping future nutrient mitigation, restoration and investment programmes. In addition to nutrient enrichment, Natural England wishes to explore opportunities to align the delivery of conservation measures with existing strategic approaches that address recreational disturbance and maintain or enhance the ecological function of habitats supporting designated SPA bird populations.
