CINAHL is the leading database for Nursing, Midwifery, Allied Health, and Health Sciences, providing access to approximately 3,500 peer-reviewed journals and a growing collection of 1,570 open access journals. It underpins teaching, learning, and research across all health and science disciplines and is embedded within reading lists, library teaching, and module assessments. This is reflected in the more than 42,000 unique item requests per annum. Many assignments require students to use CINAHL to identify and evaluate high-quality evidence in support of evidence-based practice
