Description
Great British Energy-Nuclear (GBE-N) intends to procure archaeological investigation and mitigation services to support development of the Gwyndod project in Anglesey. The requirement is expected to cover the remaining main site areas (Phases 1–4), associated development areas and other off-site land where required. Services may include archaeological evaluation and trial trenching, excavation, strip-map-and-sample activities, palaeoenvironmental assessment and analysis, and associated post-excavation assessment, reporting, publication and archiving. Services will be delivered in phases, with activities sequenced to reflect programme requirements, land access, consents and interfaces with other site activities. The supplier will be required to provide suitably qualified resources and manage the delivery of fieldwork and associated outputs in accordance with the detailed requirements issued by GBE-N.
